Treatment Philosophy

Electromyography testing is a computerized examination performed by trained, licensed and certified doctors, sometimes with the assistance of trained and certified technicians. These highly technical examinations assess the function of the peripheral nervous system measuring the strength of nerve impulses (amplitudes), the speed of the impulses (conduction velocity), time the impulses take to cross from the nerve into the muscle (latency) as well as identify muscle disorders, abnormal impulses from the spine (radiculopathy), etc.

These tests help the doctors accurately diagnose a variety of neurological and pain conditions as well as help the doctor determine an appropriate treatment plan.
